There seems to be a bit of inconsistency on this.
I have had 2 charges so far but teammates are reporting far more and others with the same as me.
I am platinum IOS.
I have an android silver account that has 8 charges available to it.
Not sure what’s going on here…
I started with 5 charges, got 1 more charge (not sure of the exact time of that one), and another one while the timer showed I had to wait 2 more hours. Timer reset to countdown 8 hours again.
Android platinum.
My alt account started just now with 8 charges (full). Also Android platinum.
Started with 4 and faced someone with a 35 score… Thats 7… I can reach max 45 points, wtf
Started with 8 charges. iOS.
I started with 4 charges and played against people with 40 points
I started with one charge and have a recharge rate of 6 hours. Currently I’m at 20 points with about 4h30m to next charge.
Something is fishy.
Just played my 5th charge have 5.53 til next one rolls in and it ends in 19.53 hrs
so enough total charges to get to 35 points which is 5 points more than the last running of the event…

Started with 4. After winning all matches, currently on pace to finish 5 points shy of progression. iOS. This is getting kind of silly.
I really don’t understand what is the purpose of creating an event if D3 is so reluctant to give us a single ELD booster reward. When you consider the amount of electricity wasted to run the servers, the players’ devices. Why don’t you just spread the joy instead of suppressing it.
I started with 4. My first enemy had 40 points. WTF?
Now seeing a screen cap of a teammate on 20 points but capped out at 4/4 charges but other players have 8??
I mean, I don’t honestly believe anyone in a position to fix this problem is even reading these (or would even take the time to fix it if they were), but posting the comment makes me feel a little better;
Same problem here. Started with 4 charges almost immediately after event start, on pace to finish at 50. Don’t even care about the free ELD pack, just frustrating that this keeps being a problem with little to no acknowledgement by the devs.
I just don’t understand how or why there is so much variance on peoples charges in this event
An attempted fix that didn’t work for everyone? Maybe depends on whether the app was restarted before starting HS?

Oh. Weird. Well here’s what Brigby said in that thread. I assume it applies to all HS runs after the current one.

I also started with 4 and not 8. My max is below progression. On android, though I don’t see why thay would matter.
Well, I at least got the 30 crystals, this time, I’m okay without the one Eld pack…
Hopefully, though, you know.. we can get ALL of the progression rewards next time..
