In the screenshots above, I attacked my opponent’s creature with a 15-power creature, which means I dealt 15 damage to a creature, right? When I look at the objective screen, it should give me credit for 15 damage. Instead, it’s only calculating the amount of damage done to my creature by the opposing creature.
This happened in the green node of the ONE Revolving Planeswalk event.
You are attacking with a creature that has both deathtouch and trample. Both these abilities will ensure that it will only do damage to the opposing creature equal to its toughness. So no, your 15 power creature will not do 15 damage to the opposing creature if it has less than 15 toughness.
Green node, The hunter objective for revolving planeswalk event is not recording damage correctly when a creature with deathtouch attacks with berserk. It is as if the deathouch is killing the creature before damage is applied. Which we know can’t happen because in order for deathtouch to trigger, damage must be applied, but if that is happening why isn’t it counting for the objective? Note, any other evergreen is working fine.
