In the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt (MID) expansion, naming of the vanguards changes from the usual convention

  • Support Card - Vanguard [Na****me]
    to this new one

  • Support Card - [Name] Vanguard

    Here are some examples.

Examples of the names following established convention (from the previous sets):

  • Expansion AFR: Garruk Primal Hunter. Support Card - Vanguard Garruk
  • Expansion STX: Professor Onyx. Support Card - Vanguard Liliana
  • Expansion KHM: Freyalise, Llanowar’s Fury . Support Card - Vanguard Freyalise
  • Expansion WAR: Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Support Card - Vanguard Bolas

Examples of the names not following established convention:

  • Expansion MID: Wrenn and Six. Support Card - Wrenn Vanguard
  • Expansion MID: Arlin Kord. Support Card - Arlinn Vanguard
  • Expansion MID: Garruk Relentless. Support Card - Garruk Vanguard
  • Expansion MID: Arlinm the Pack’s Hope. Support Card - Arlinn Vanguard

I consider this as a bug since this change brings inconsistency in the way all vanguards are named in all previous expansions.

The issue hasn’t been addressed in the latest update 5.2.2.
