Signed up to ask.. not like 8 covers in a row, but the last 8 1* black widows Ive gotten (these are coming from lightning rounds), they’ve all been yellow. Literally it is 8 of them. What gives?

Some times RNG just be like that. My 5 star electro had like 27 covers saved when I champed her because the game decided to give me nothing but yellow covers for her.

I once had 7 consecutive blue covers for 1 star Yelena. Literally consecutive, no other characters in between.

Yea the LRs can be weird that way. Happens to me a lot actually. I just had a bunch of purple Venom in the last one. Next LR will be more of the same for me, just a different character dropping more than the other. One specific color cover seems to happen most when it’s a color you don’t need.

This round it isn’t a specific character at all. I’m getting Iso-8, specifically the 280 amount. I’m at just about 3:1 iso to covers dropping. I don’t have much use for Iso-8. However, I could really use riso. That is actually one of my LR upgrades I mentioned having in one of the other threads. Basically, when you would get an Iso-8 reward, give a choice btwn getting the amount in iso or riso. Small but makes a difference.
Ok for the record the 10th black widow was finally not yellow

This probability defying feature has come up a few times before. It happened a lot with Yelena in the olden days. My theory is that an original programmer put in an Easter egg called “Psycho stalker ex-girlfriend” and nobody has ever removed it.
