Kaya's Second ability (Entomb Contract) is destroying rather than exiling [Fix in 4.4]

I noticed lately that Kaya’s second ability is destroying tokens.
An example of this issue is when I am up against TED in a legacy training grounds.

When using Entomb Contract, the Eldrazi Scion’s would be removed from the board without TED gaining mana.
Now, the scion’s are being “destroyed” instead of exiled so TED gains mana.

Kaya’s 2nd also counted against me in some recent past event where I was not supposed to kill anything.

What gives?

Interesting how for Vindicate this would seem like an expected behavior but for Kaya it’s not. Read the full description in that topic why I think this is completely faulty!
