Lightning Rounds have been villains only this week...

Normally, the Lightning Rounds work like this:

  • 5 villains rounds > 5 heroes rounds > 5 villains rounds > 5 heroes rounds > …

But, this week, the Lightning Rounds are working like this:

  • 5 villains rounds > 5 villains rounds > 5 villains rounds > 5 villains rounds > …

So far this week we’ve had 15 villains rounds and no hero ones, and another 5 villains rounds are up next.

After those are done there will only be 4 more rounds left this week, and I bet that those will be villains rounds as well.

Either something has been intentionally changed or something has broken here. I suspect that it’s the latter, but can we get a confirmation and an ETA on a possible fix, please?

I haven’t played LR much, but I started playing them when MMR broke, and from what I’ve seen it’s been all villains one week then all heroes the next week, etc.

If it’s supposed to work how you say, it’s been broken at least since mmr was first broken.

It goes 2 weeks of villains then 1 week of heroes and then back to villains. That’s been the rotation for over a year.

Does it matter? I’m not bothered, except wondering why I’m seeing 3* Mag’s smug more often…

There was a hiccup in May where there were 3 weeks of villains, but other than that, it has indeed been 2 weeks of villains then 1 week of heroes since at least January 2017.

I just ascended 3a5 Mags, so I’m fine with this. ETA: Good lord, he hits like a truck in the villain rounds!

Yup .. fought an 825 one and got wiped in no time…
