Yea I hit over 100 today with zombie tokens. Was about to win so did the +4/+4 to use up loyalty. It has become for me if it is hard to best just tank with Liliana
Actually just added grotesque mutation to the deck.
I feel like every deck with Lil2 is exactly the same. Oath, Prized, Graf Harvest, Relentless Dead, etc.. Literally the exact same decks with little variation. Her Mana gain can be pretty extraordinary so it can be a pain to catch up after a big cascade.
Nothing more annoying than Relentless + Prized combo…
it is true most are close to the same really black has trouble fielding good zombies but lilli 2’s biggest weakness is that there aret much available for flyers, so have some in there and pretty much the only way she can get rid of them is direct kill.
You’re spot on with that weakness, fliers are the precise reason I have two kill spells plus Fleshbag Marauder. And then Grotesque Mutation is great for if anything does slip through. Once recovered something like 90 life in one go after an appalling opening game.
I hear you with the Colossus + Relentless Hordes combo, but I find the Colossus part of it to be a bit troublesome if your opponent has kill/bounce spells. Back when I started playing with this deck I killed my Relentless Dead something like 3 or 4 times in one turn to build a good sized Colossus … only to see it turned into a piddly little frog straight afterwards (or was it a Moon Prison? I can’t remember). Amalgam does less damage but I have to agree with Orgazmo, it’s far more difficult to get rid of and downright aggravating when you’ve got a huge creature without Trample that continuously gets stopped dead by a recurring 2/2 creature. Guess it’s fortunate that you can have both the Colossus and Amalgam on the board.
i have slaughter and bone splinters with flesh bag for removal for mine. another problem with the deck is limited mana gain some of the gold lands sunken hollow and so on but that just makes that many few other supports you can use. it isnt my favorite deck but it can be fun for a change
