So through a combination of not bringing full characters into a wave and not knowing the wave was full of champions and not minions I lost a wave after the first round. Cleared it a second time and now the 24 hr cd is only replenishing 15% or so of the points rather then the full 33%.
If I do another wave and clear a single round is the timer going to increase or will it only increase if I push it past the 66%? Is my best plan here to simply let it refresh and accept that I’ve lost several hundred points for the event?
Not sure if this is your issue but if you clear a round of a wave node, you get those points even if you don’t complete the entire node. If you replay the node a second time, you will not get the points for the first round, since you already got them, but will get the points for the other rounds. For instance, if a wave node has three rounds and you complete round one then lose/quit, you get the points for round one. If you wait until the node fully refreshes, play it again, and complete it, you will only get points for rounds two and three.
I assumed they were treating the waves as individual sets of points, with the timer just telling you when all waves will be back to full points.
So if you completed a 2-wave node three times, and then completed only the first wave another time, the first wave would have 48 hours on the clock, and the second have 24 hours to recharge. The timer would then show the maximum of these two.
