“My trick? Hit their casting hand and they lose their advantage. So far, I’m undefeated.”

—Alessia, Lorehold duelist

Well you see, students are mostly young, brazen, full of wonder and desire. With each new spell learned they become more and more eager to test their magic in real situations, libraries and classrooms can only go so far in teaching what magic can really do. It is not surprising that students find alleys and tavern lots to test their mettle. It is mostly friendly sparing, but sometimes someone ends up hurt? Or worse? Of course they do, but that’s what healing magic is for, for everything else, there’s always necromancy.

Facing opponents with creatures in their decks. That seems like a bug, right @Magic_PQ_Support_Team ?

Why aren’t decks being checked for invalid cards when transferring pre-built decks to the event deck slot like is done in other restricted formats?

I like that you have tried something different with this event.

I think the dual color spell restriction is a bit weird, since tri-colored spell doesn’t trigger the event support, which limits the deck building possibilities.

Also as @Sarah writes it is annoying to go up against decks that does not conform to the intention of the event.

Hey, folks!
Feedback noted. Pretty sure the dual-color one is intentional, so help us understand your perception: it makes the deck building challenging or annoying?

My issue was find finding spells that was dual color. As far as I know there isn’t an easy way to filter my library so that I only get dual color spells so after a while I just gave up and selected some cards. Later I found out that tri-colored spells didnt trigger the event support. That was on me, but since I ran out af patience I gave the feedback I did.
