Note: Eagle eyed viewers will notice something that’s NOT there this time. We’re going to release Mari Hill without a S.H.I.E.L.D. Training event running alongside her release. We’re re-evaluating the effectiveness of these S.H.I.E.L.D. Training release events as a result of player feedback about many aspects of it (required characters, matchups, etc.) and want to see how the character launch works without this event running. While hot takes about this aren’t a bad thing, we’d like feedback on the overall different feel of this 4-Star character release with the changed release cadence once you’ve had a chance to experience it.
So what’s the purpose of that black power? It basically kills her? I may be missing something about her but she sure seems very weak, don’t really think any of her powers are decent. Maybe her blue is ok if paired with Okoye etc.
I guess you hope to get rid of the countdown in time but for what you get, doesn’t seem that great. In addition, anyone who fortifies your tiles actually is bad to use with her if that is your goal?
I do also see where she could be a good pair with Kitty but I guess imo not better than Grocket who most people already have.
Wish they had done something with her traps that maybe would have really synced with Sinister (I know in comics they have nothing in common etc.) but having her be a really good trap character/booster with the same tanking colors would have made sense.

Really? A lot of the feedback was people liked it EXCEPT when you used a new 4* as a required character. So that means that Shield Training will go the way of Support circuit, Gwen Prix, Alliance raid events, Gauntlet, Wakanda PVE, Heroics PVE, Sakaar Lighting Rounds, etc etc etc. Guess they were too generous and had to pull even more back, like the communication.
It seems they are deliberately misconstruing the criticism of the shield training. To be clear players like to have that opportunity to acquire a cover of the latest 4 star character. What they criticized was having recently released 4 stars that very few people have had an opportunity to get 10 covers for as a required character.
Note: I am pulling out of my VIP service when it expires. I will no longer be buying anything from the store as I myself am “RE-EVALUATING” the way the devs are taking away resources from us.
The fact that she’s at best a low to mid tier character is probably going to further skew any information they’re hoping to gain about player happiness or attempts at cover acquisition.
d3 solution; just scrap whole thing, no need to fix or even work on that the one problem was to the event.
And I can’t see how taking the SHIELD training out would prove anything about the release. I say this because since SHIELD training was released the main complaint has been about the required character being a new character and they have tested it buy using old characters.. so they have data both ways.. like others said this is a way for us to lose resources.. yet again shrug
So who is going to like losing iso and a few tokens and 1 CP usually to be replaced with nothing? I mean, yeah the part people didn’t like was using the newest 4* to complete it but even being able to play some of the nodes and still getting iso and a few other rewards is better than nothing! Also at least with the first node you got to try out the new character fully covered, we are losing that too.
One of the few things that helped build excitement over new character releases. Even if it was repetitive, it helped promote the character, gave us a different cycle at least.
Also, re: Hill, seriously with black power?! Take 10k+ damage for an extra 1k match damage that will be half gone by the time she gets the fallout.
I mean, it’s in character, but maybe a bit too useless?
We have specific complaints about an ASPECT of Wakanda, Support Circuit, and SHIELD Training- then they go scorched-earth and remove them completely, never to be heard from again.
Threads upon threads exist complaining about Bishop, and not so much as a tweak. While you are Spring-cleaning and throwing out all our old things, can’t you take him too?
Sarcasm aside, I agree with everyone else that this is yet another resource-nab on the part of the developers. Replace BH with lower drop rate shards, remove HP and CP from champ rewards, remove Gwen Prix and Support Circuit from the game, remove HP and CP from progression rewards, and push out an accelerated 5* release pattern where people have to play twice long in CL10 to make less progress than they were before.
You all are seriously killing your own game. I don’t know how else to say it.
Pretty silly to scrap the whole thing when the annoying part was having to have recently released characters so high. Meaning mostly the whales got them.
Simply required 5 or 6 of a cover Instead of 10 would have made everyone happy.
As far as she goes she looks ok, could replace rocket with rocket and kitty.
I’m guessing the cool down and and Invisibility works hand and hand? If you’re invisible you won’t take the cool down damage right?
