Also @Brigby, are the fan favourites 5* covers swappable? Otherwise we seem to be looking at a 25% more expensive classics token.
I mean.. is not getting Banner worth the extra 5cp, when you think about it?

I was hoping for Vulture to be the reward for the boss event but X-23 is one of my favorites too and I only have six covers for her right now so definitely looking to getting a handful of covers for her.

@Brigby, will the boss event have its own boosted list or is it the same as the Fan Favorites one?

I know some above asked about the Fan Favorites 5* dupes, but also the Gambit store. All
other releases for 5* had that release alone as the 5* until DareDevil. I know with the DD release they did not let you swap covers for the other 5* in that vault. Since this is a 25CP as is the Fan Favorite, and the Cosmic store was the same way, will they let you swap from both of these stores? I think they should with the 5 extra CP tax for these vaults. @Brigby

@Brigby Can you please post the list of boosted characters for X-Men vs Apocalypse? The prior post was formatted in a way that caused some confusion. Also, please verify whether there will be required 1* side missions.

Trying to get my head around this one. Death can only be destroyed when it is the last tile on the board but it kills you everytime you destroy another Horseman? 3 Horsemen destroyed = 3 characters downed then Death gets killed? So does that mean all your characters are going to die in order to defeat Death??!? I guess clarification of what the countdown tile actually does might make things clearer, maybe the power only works after the countdown is resolved? Otherwise bye bye health packs.

I’m reading that to be “creates a countdown tile that, if allowed to resolve, downs the character in front.” So whenever you beat a horseman it starts a race against the clock to get rid of the Death CD (or win the entire fight). Jean Grey should come in handy there.

That makes much more sense. Kill the other 3 Horseman before Death’s countdown tile resolves. Then you can damage Apocalypse without him healing.

I’m a little bummed about the fan favorite store. Based on the wording previously I though it was only going to have the 8 5* and 12 4* and 0% chance on the other 4s. Since I have all 12 favorites already champed it would have been fantastic to be able to chase 5s without worrying about 4* cover waste… Well now it doesn’t seem worth spending CP… shame…

Everything else looks good though, still excited.

On Apocalypse, if you are able to do enough damage in a single turn to down him can you kill him while the horsemen are still up? For example with whales, whales, whales?

Do the Horsemen count as Special tiles for the purpose of Pestilence’s powers? I’m assuming not, since otherwise Pestilence and Death would seem to deadlock each other and make it impossible to win.

Is Apocalypse going to be a tile mover? I’m also curious about how/when Pestilence checks for special tiles.

I’m thinking the same, and reminds me of Boss Ock.

His 4 tentacle tiles preventing you from destroying the reactor; so something similar. Death tile can’t be matched until the other 3 are matched, and each has varying countdown components, like the Tentacle tiles.

Another question on Famine: it says you need to collect AP in your strongest colour - is this the strongest colour of the whole team or the strongest colour for any one character?

Why isn’t vault iso doubled?

They are not the same odds. It is similar to the hybrid vaulting we have now in Legendary tokens: the latest 12 are at 42.5% and all others are 42.5%.
So, you will be roughly 3 times more likely to get a fan favorite than one of the others.
