Note how this is specifically called out as an EXPLOIT.
What the player base deserves to know is what was the threshold for roll back or sand boxing so that we know our own investment in time and money was protected.
Fixed an exploit allowing Quests to be reset under certain conditions.

Yeah, the wording is not good. It wasn’t an exploit. It was an “issue”. How is it different than the other “issues” they have other than it benefited the player base? And gotta love the vague “under certain conditions”. It was absolutely something that could be done unintentional. It wasn’t an exploit. It was a bug. Of their own creation.
If one has to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge to reset the quest even though most players only dip and dive, then that’s an “exploit”. If you pivot where most players don’t pivot and reset the quest, then it is a bug. But if you keep pivoting when it doesn’t make sense to have pivoted more than just the once, then it is an exploit. Or something. I can’t quite tell what my mashed potatoes are telling me.
I’ve been trying to find other games because this one has gotten so bad. No lie, every game I download and unity pops up the game has problems. Who made this call to switch to unity? They need to be shamed
Unity runs some of the biggest, most successful mobile games in existence and they work just fine. Cuphead, Hollow Knight, Ori and the Blind Forest, Pokemon Go, Among Us, Hearthstone, Outer Wilds…
The problem is not Unity and has never been Unity. The problem is that the devs decided to rebuild the game from scratch. They could’ve picked any engine and it would’ve turned out the same (or worse!).

Football manager had major issues with its transition to Unity. There alot to unpack here far beyond the game.
I only say this because I’m just a gamer, not an employee under fear of retribution but.
The rise of game engines (Unity, Unreal) was obvious an inevitable. The concept of HW in general has been abstracted away so individual developers can focus on game content vs sw development.
—So changing the engine exposed alot of technical debt (when devs defer refactoring the codebase to modern standards and requirements)
While this is all predictable and obvious to say in hindsight. Some real issues arise in terms of how this transition was handled and managed (some might say miss-managed)
Lets candidly reevaluate if this transition should have been either started earlier or paid to run longer. Before people say companies aren’t made of money. Lets calculate lost revenue and cs costs associated with the hard change. lets also include the value of 1*/2* covers given due to enhanced drop rates. many players made significant progress. Thats revenue lost to the company.
– So the next time we evaluate the cost of engine change. lets also consider of inevitable mistakes/errors/exploits.
people were asking were where the various vaults etc??? It was consumed by the deluge of 1*/2* covers during the bugged releases

Resetting quests that need a certain char to be completed on purpose to farm like 10 Galactus covers isn’t an issue, it is an exploit since it’s done intentionally
I say look at all players roster and box those who clearly knew what they were doing!

I agree 100%. Box those that did it even once and even if accidental.

Getting 20 shards by accident isn’t moving the dial. Getting 6000 shards is exploiting. If there are any accounts with a large Galactus in the wild, please DM S0kun either on here or Discord and it will be investigated.
Are you saying report someone that got 20 shards or greater.
And the next time this happens and there will be a next time. We should do the exploit for upto 20 shards? They should post that in game if that is the case

You like to twist people‘s words, aren’t you?
I never said 20 shards, I never said once or twice accidental.
If someone comes around with a 10 cover Galactus (=6000 shards), that would mean they have to reset the Galactus quests 60 to 80 times.
If you call that accidental, I don‘t want to be your insurance company…
