I built a black deck to purposely avoid the countless amount of times the ai screws me over with miracle draws or plays. I have 4 kill spells and for 26 turns I DID NOT DRAW A SINGLE ONE.
I have a 40-60 chance on each draw, but the probability for it to occur 26 times in a row is 2.6E-5. With those odds I should buy a freaking lottery ticket!
I have 2 energise cards playing node 3.2. by turn 36
I’ve drawn every other card but the energise ones.
I don’t see how 36+8 makes a 40 card deck?

Yes. This. How does this happen with 40 card decks?!?!? You are not the only one this happens to.
i suspect since 1.10 patch, the deck size is 50 cards instead of 40. this is probably to fix the fetch issues of Arlinn and Saheeli.
That assumption would be logical, if I didn’t just go 120 turns and played well over 80 cards.
I think it’s a deck of cards that randomly draws from it, the only limit is 4 cards of one type in your hand, play, and the top 9 of your graveyard.
the limit of 4 of a kind in hand is not true. I have 5 of a kind on my hand recently. it’s 5 uncaged fury but not a critter on my board. 
They have definitely changed the ‘40 card deck’ system without telling us. Just priot to the latest 1.10.2 update, the first 8 cards that I drew in a game featured 5 copies of the same card.
With saheeli I’ve searched 4 of a vehicle and cast 2 of that same card in one turn
