Grumpysmurf beat me, but yeah. Last we heard “DDQ fixed that” for roster slots.
Except there are new characters out every other week at a minimum it seems, and there are 71 characters in-game now, it’s costing 950 HP per slot anymore. It is…difficult at best to get that every two weeks, and that price is not leveling off.
Question: What is being done to make roster spots sustainably affordable?
A few Q&A’s ago it was said the 4* transition was supposed to be easier than 3*.
Currently, the only way to get 4* at all is:
Introduction (for top few)
Season reward (a month work, for a top few)
PVP winner (a very, very few)
PVE winner (a very, very few)
From tokens (ha ha ha ha!)
edit: 1K progression - comments mention I missed this one, forgot it since I’ve never even hit 900 PVP points in nearly 500 days.
Question: What is being done to get the 4* transition started?
Moonstone’s black skill is being reworked due to difficulties with interactions with various countdown tiles. Are there any other skills that have become more complex as the game evolves?
They also have a guideline on how long the roster transitions take, but the timeline can be impacted on whether a player is free-to-play or if they are in a strong alliance.
Transition to 2* roster – couple of weeks
Transition to 3* roster – 1 to 3 months
Transition to 4* roster – 6 months
Perhaps my definition of transition is different since I’m in a fantastic alliance and I feel like I’m way behind on this timeline! Lol!
How much alcohol was consumed in the booth at the time of the discussion?
Related: Can you speak to the 4* transition and your vision as more characters in that tier are released?
Regarding Scarlet Witch’s blue skill, was it intentional to include purple in the tiles eligible for transformation? Thor’s yellow skill behaved similarly, but was later changed to exclude green tiles.
It has also been said that health packs aren’t a big seller.
Changes lately:
MMR puts you against more top teams
Characters (most) have more health
Boosted characters every week, so even more health
Boosted characters are the same in PVP and PVE.
The matches are longer, take more damage, and you really need to use the same characters in multiple events to do well. That is becoming pretty difficult.
Question: Is the health pack model being reevaluated? Are more health packs, or faster healing, or some other method coming?
