When I “end” a wave by downing the last foe by matching Medusa’s Entanglement tile, the new wave appears but the two attack tiles are not created.
Also noticed this recently.
This happens to various abilities when waves end. For example, 4-star Deadpool’s Countdown for What? - if multiple tiles are matched and the first one KOs the last enemy in a wave, the others will fire at nothing, then the next wave enters.
That’s really something different.
That is a different thing, but yeah, there are a lot of powers that do weird things at the ends of waves. The one that’s coming to mind is that 4* Blade’s green sometimes doesn’t heal him if it ends a wave.
Basically, the end of a wave inherits too many of the conditions of the end of a normal match. Some day…
And 2* Hawkeyes purple countdowns. Always irritating when the last enemy in 1:st wave is downed by the first countdown and the rest of them just hits nothing.
Just takes some extra planning. Also, this is clearly the 2* DDQ mission we’re talking about, and its not exactly hard.
This forum is for players of all levels. A newer or very casual player might find that node challenging still, and their experiences are just as important. Also, these issues, while being discussed in light of that specific wave node, are relevant to all wave nodes.

I just cleared Ensemble Number, the first wave node in “Duck Be a Lady”, and every time I matched Entanglement to clear a round it failed to spawn Attack tiles. Very annoying when Bullseye should have died to the Attack tiles that should have spawned but didn’t because of this bug.
Sometimes your only move to end the round is a match that includes Medusa’s Entanglement tile, so sometimes this bug is unavoidable.
