It doesn’t work at all, targeting ooponent creature pops up, but still remains as 1/1. Also, can’t target your own creatures, which the description suggests it should work .

I discovered you can’t target Legendary creatures. So if that is the only thing in play, Mirror Image just casts as a 1/1. If there are other targets, it will let you target them but Mirror Image will still just come into play as a 1/1. Does nothing, completely useless.
It always enters as a 1/1. Puts the copied creature in your hand. The card is just worded terribly
Sometimes you get a copy sometimes not. I tried it for a while and it wasn’t working as it should.
I could select a target every time but if my hand was empty I did not get a copy. Sometimes it worked with just another card in hand but it seemed I needed a creature in hand to make it work most times.
This. Doesn’t always add the copy to hand.
I’ve played it 5 times so far, each with a different situation.
Once with legendary creatures (I owned)
Once with tokens (I owned)
Once nonlegendary creatures (I owned)
Once legendary creature and nonlegendary (opponents)
Once tokens (opponents)
5/5 times did not work. Useless 1/1 for 5 mana, it is

Hi Everyone. There is a fix in 2.9 that allows Mirror Image to be cast, while the opponent controls no Creatures.
