Do you guys (developers) track the covers out there? The reason I ask is that I’ve been playing for 100 plus days and still do not have and have never pulled Blue IM40, Red Hulk, any IW other than green, or Red Rags
I’m don’t have the levels to have a shot in an event. So I don’t even have the option to spend money since you can’t buy covers. So a this by design to keep me playing?
Not a flame, just want to know if I should just ‘buck-up’ or if it’s something that is being addressed
You’re just… unlucky. The chance of a specific color cover for a specific hero is something like 0.0005% from a Standard, and only about 0.002 from a heroic. You will be able to win them eventually.
Also, if you have been playing for 100 days and have not been able to place well, you may want to reevaluate where you are putting your Iso.
One tip: hoard some iso for a little while. then, when an event comes up which has a buffed 2* hero you have covers for, plough iso into that hero. it will make a big difference to how you place, but probably for that tourney only - unless it’s a hero you end up using a lot afterwards anyway.
I never pulled any GSBW covers (60+ days). Eh, not like I care - I got most of my 3* from placing in events, only 2 pulls of IM40 and 1 green Punisher. Good placing is really so much more effective.
I just passed the 105 day mark and the only Ragnarok cover I have is the Green one I got as a daily reward from around day 60.
I’m also missing Invisible Woman completely - the only hero I have 0 covers for currently - although not sure whether this is a blessing in disguise.
I’ve pulled 3 IW from tokens. - 2 blue 1 green, that’s not bad considering!
But villians wise I’m really struggling.
I basically have one of each colour for most of them, 1 of colour/ability each for mag and rag.
It was 1 each for the hood as well until the latest tourney.
2 purps on Loki and the only Doom I have is from like the day 50 reward.
My suspicion is that the new IW could be a good AP generator if you max her green and blue abilities. Hvaing three covers - and two of them yellow, means I cannot confirm or deny this.
After two months playing the only covers I still don’t have is yellow XForce Wolvie, Red Magneto (I want this cover so bad) and blue DD (but this one is very new).
At first I was upset that Hulk didn’t have a purple power to go with his pants, but then I realised Green, Red and Grey (light black) makes perfect sense.
My Hulk is missing red, My Black Widow is missing (I think) Green, IM40, missing yellow, Doom and Loki only have 3 Black, Magneto only 2 Purples, and Hood only one Blue. No X-force Wolvie, no Blue IW.
