It’s been a while since we’ve done a player appreciation post so after hearing some great words from our mods @fight4thedream & @Scofie, we’d like to honor some members of the community who’ve made a tremendous contribution to the discord, discourse, and debates around here.
As the first of the honorable mentions (even if only due to alphabetized happenstance) I’d like to congratulate those being recognized, both honorable and otherwise.
If the whole of the MPQ playerbase were as passionate as those listed, none would ever dare doubt the longevity of match 3 super heroes.
Congrats to the those receiving a stone (I’m assuming the last remaining -mind- stone for a few). I, for one, value your contributions and opinions, even when I disagree, as the discourse you provide elevates this forum to daily required visitation of only to peruse your insights.
Uhm…wow, thank you, this is a really nice and completely undeserved honour, there are many more players who contribute far more valuable info than I do, I mostly just provide goofy polls and random pictures of squirrels so thanks for putting up with me!
In true Oscar’s runner up style I’d like to congratulate those who won an award your creativity and comments always make the forums interesting and sometimes very funny to read
I think I got the wrong kind of stone lol I think I’m getting either a kidney stone or gallbladder is going out . Last few weeks side and back killing me. Hopefully get answers Sunday next day I’m off and getting scanne
Thank you. I have a feeling this is more for posting the ascended powers of everyone (and maybe working out some combos or something) and less for starting fights with everybody all the time (I’m trying to be better!) but it’s really nice to be recognized.
Us honorable mentions are glue guys. That is, we are posters that ask questions, keep the discussions going and spurn on the meta posters to do their stuff. Sort of like a good side kick in the comics.
Congrats to the winners, althought it feels to me like the spam awards. Every single winner got a 0.2 to 0.8 like per post ratio so we’re clearly not aiming for consistent quality.
Not speaking for my own case because I know I’m probably too explosive, but recognition for blend posts over some people constructive criticism / spreadsheets built for the community just feels bad.
I’ll also take that occasion to add no one uses this forum for info because your search function is so, so bad you can’t even properly search for what you want. If I search “shards” it’s gonna include people post saying “hard”. If I try to copy paste [BOSS EVENT] to try and find the history of all bosses, it’ll skip some at random, etc. It’s unusable
I don’t know if there’s an award for bringing down a vibe, but you just earned it.
Congratulations.
Seriously, take a look at whatever is inside you that’s upsetting you. It’s a forum, not an all encompassing database claiming to provide every answer at the click of a button. No offense to those “just dropping in” but someone with limited participation researching (or guessing) ‘like’ ratios so you can insult both the givers and receivers of a gift is cringe inducing. Continuing to insult the forum as a whole is just silly.
I’ll never understand people that feel the need to bring others down. Saying “congrats” followed by why you think they don’t deserve it brings the tone down. Feel free to blast me if you’d like. But make a new thread for it so this thread can stay positive, please.

Thank you for complimenting me on my recent win at the spam awards.
I’m sure I speak for all of us that we have only really had a few difficult people and you, my friend, now belong to that club so congrats to you as well.
I won’t take your words to heart as I stopped reading fairly quickly but I hope you will carry on with your positive and encouraging words.
Stay gold pony boy x
It is the point yes. This “celebration” is to me a parody of community involvement.
Nothing wrong with facebook level type of daily chatter, it’s not like most discord / reddit messages are more profound either, but putting it on a pediestal is just baffling to me, sorry if that offends you. I’ll give you the like ratio is not a perfect system, but it’s far from unsignificant too.
Then again, I’m not saying anyone that got it didn’t deserve it, I’m saying it’s missing obvious names like Daiches or Droogie that do deserve it way more.
