No Daily Quests?

Anyone else not getting the 2 daily quests?

I don’t think I got any yesterday either but because they aren’t appearing now at noon EST I can’t be sure if I got 2 yesterday or not. I did get the weekly quests yesterday though.

These have been shifted eight hours into the future, so you should see them at 8 PM EDT instead.

Yeah, I get them but much later. It really sucks because I used to be able to knock them out on my lunch break but now by the time they come out I’m dealing with dinner time and putting kids to bed. By the time I’m free for the night I barely have any time and my wife will probably rather I watch a show with her instead of be on my phone.

Can’t you just do them during your lunch break the next day?

I do slice 5 pve, so I still need to finish nodes to progression before they reset at the end of the night, and I do quest in pve.

Was much more convenient when I could get both quests and pve nodes done before I get home for the day

Ah ok, I do slice 1 PvE and don’t bother grinding at the end, so the new time actually makes it better for me – the new quests are already there when I start.

Sorry if this has been addressed already, but is the time shift forward in daily quests the new normal, or was it an accident?

Considering they are now synced with season start (as they probably always should have been as seasonal quests), you can expect it to be on purpose.

Them actually starting during their work hours is a bonus after 2 seasons of major system wide crashes due to the old season quests and new season quests overlapping.

And to the others: 24 h block is 24 h block. Any time you were used to do quests in still falls within that time frame. Nothing at all changed.

Ya. Really dislike the time shift…

I’m with EB and Daiches. If you used to do the seasonal daily quests (distinct from the standard daily quests that align with DDQ’s starting time) five hours after they appeared, then they are now showing up three hours after you would have completed them. But don’t worry, because you can instead play them twenty-one hours after they appeared, which is the same time that you played them before the time shift.

Example:

  • Quests used to appear at 3 PM
  • Quests completed at 8 PM, five hours later
  • Time shift – quests now appear at 11 PM
  • Quests completed at 8 PM the next day, twenty-one hours later
