Oh no! It’s terrible. You were hanging out with all of your favorite superheroes on your awesome MPQ party cruise liner, everyone was amazingly getting along (even Wolverine and Cyclops), and then… BOOM! The captain pilots the ship into an iceberg and the ship goes down. A little odd, since you were just passing Bermuda, but, well, comics. Due to the rigid (and probably illegal) caste system, each ![]()
level is confined to specific decks. Sadly, you have time to save only one character from your existing roster per deck of the ship. Who gets hauled, sputtering and gasping, onto the life rafts, and who goes to sleep with the fishes? (Short version: You are reduced to five total characters in your roster, and may pick only one from each star level to keep.)
Looking at my current band of merry heroes and surly villains, I’d probably go with:

Juggernaut! He has the whole deck to himself anyway, so this wasn’t a hard choice. Plus, he does look like one of those, which is always a bonus. He has no trouble with the one star DDQ mission, and happily headbutts away during Balance of Power (though not nearly as hard as in the past).

A tougher decision. I love Hawkeye, and Ares is a boss, but I think I’d have to grab Original Black Widow up by her soggy fish nets and toss her in the life raft. That awesome AP steal, strike-tile-dipping black, and goon-frustrating blue are too good to be ignored.

The decisions get tougher! I’m going to have to go with a likely not-often-picked one - Falcon! I use him everyday in the Big Enchilada, and his Inspiration & Redwing are two of my favorite powers in the game. Oddly, he is one of my absolute lowest champion leveled 3 stars - only 175, when the majority are in the 180-185 range. Sorry Iron Fist and Blade, it was a close one!

I don’t have any maxed 4-stars, so logic would dictate that I pick my level 230 5/5/3 Hulkbuster. However, I have so much fun with my level 200 3/5/5 Nick Fury that he gets my pick. Sorry, 5/1/4 Antman, you were a close second. It’s just too fun watching an enemy explode itself with Demolition.

None of my 5-stars have seen any ISO, or get much use other than trivial node burn-downs, and none has over four covers. So, 2/0/2 Old Man Logan, you win the prize by default.
