After spending a few hours yesterday working on challanges, juggling creatures out of my hand and killing them off, being able to discard cards seems a blessing.
I have two Android devices. When I got my phone (Galaxy S5), Verizon threw in a cheap tablet, supposedly for free (of course, it wasn’t really). I have MtgPQ installed on both. I played it mostly on the phone. I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t lose my game state, so I tried updating the tablet first. When I started the game, I got a big message box saying Update Available, and giving me a button that took me to Google Play Store. When I got to the Store, the button that normally is labelled “Install” was saying “Update”. I clicked that, and was told that my tablet didn’t have enough free space available. Fine, I want it on the phone anyway.
But when I started the game on my phone, I did not get the “Update Available” box, and when I went to Play Store, it didn’t say “Update”. It just said “Open”.
So, how can I get the updated version of the game installed on my phone without losing my current game state?
That happened to me on the iPhone in the App Store… said update was available, but in the store it only had the Open option. I had to go to my list of Apps, and in that screen it did display the “Update” option.
