I played Pickleboar and Giant Spectacle on it in one turn.
My opponent plays the J1 ability Confusion for -3 on it.
The following turn it attacks into a Filigree Familiar, and dies without dealing any damage whatsoever.
Should it not have gotten +2 attack (making it a 4/4) and first strike on top of having Berserk and Trample which means the Familiar would have died and the boar not?

So had to write it all down to follow:
Prickleboar is 3/3 that gets +2/+0 and first strike when blocked, check
Giant Spectacle gives +2/+1 trample and berserker to the creature, so now you have 5/4 trample, berserker creature
Jace’s ability gives it -3/-0, so now it’s a 2/4
Filigree Familiar is a 4/4 defender
When it attacks and is blocked it SHOULD get +2/+0 and first strike, making it a 4/4, so what you’re saying makes sense.
I’m left to wonder if this is an issue of berserker triggering before defender, and it doesn’t consider the creature as being blocked. Have you tried using Giant Spectacle on Prickleboar in the past successfully against other creatures? Knowing how these things go in the game, I suspect it’s entirely a bug revolving around giving that creature berserker.
prickleboar is buggy. if it is blocked and gains +2/0
and firststrike it will deal no damage on that turn
and will just take damage.

Will a berserker attaking a defender count as blocked, or has the berserker “priority”?
Something that might be correlated: A god can’t block nor attack (unless..); but it still will be targeted by creatures with berserker, so there might be a difference between “blocking” and “getting attacked”?
assembled alphas deal their if blocked damage
when they are given berserker and attack a
non defending creature. I think in the gods case,
it needs to meet conditions to initiate the I can
block process. but if the opponent forces it to
block then that’s ok. (never thought casting
giant spectacle on an opponents creature could
result in a ‘go and commit suicide’ next turn)

Shaman of the Pack does 8 damage. Prickleboar only takes damage.

Another instance in an event occurred but didnt take a screenshot but it was along the same lines from what I recall. Ever since then I don’t use/cast Prickleboar. Keeping forgetting to edit my deck.
I just got this bug. Prickleboar with berserker seems to cause it to do no damage and receive 2 or 3 damage. I don’t have brawlers plate but, can confirm that with Giant’s Spectacle and Koths’ 2nd gives the same self-damaging effect without doing any damage to an opposing creature.
The +2/0 and first strike effect do trigger.
