Players with same name possible?

Hi all,

A long time ago I played against a player with the same name as one of my coaltion members. When I told him about our little match, he claimed he didn’t have the cards I saw the AI playing. Now, one of our other coalition members is seeing a player that also has exactly the same name as one of our coalition members, but with a different score (Trial of Ambition event).

So, am I correct to conclude that players are allowed to choose a name that is already used by someone else?

They might be using a different alphabet to get a name that looks the same but has different Unicode values. Not sure why they want to do that but it can easily be done.
