Considering it was a negative remark left on MY account, I’d say I have a right to use it as a signature. Or do you only moderate the folks who don’t white knight for D3?
Actually it was a red name, and they were a damned sight more polite than you are. I’m in communication with them, so you can keep your “warnings” to yourself.
Also: it wasn’t anything to do with the devs, but with the people who thought the sig could possibly be racist. Although i might be possibly missing some context here.

If they had a problem with the content of the quote… wouldn’t they have to warn the person who actually left the comment instead of the one who had it directed at them? Kind of like the kettle getting in trouble for the pot calling him black?
I’ll start this by eating a bit of presumptuous crow and boy is it delicious! I did assume there was either a miscommunication on the person that contacted you’d part or that you were upset and being hyperbolic. My bad, but honestly, I don’t see how it was racist, and neither of those are huge leaps of faith, if we’re being honest - both of those things happen fairly often.
That aside, I’m going to go ahead and respond to your post, because I still feel like you were in the wrong.
No, you don’t. If you have a problem with something a user said to you there are plenty of venues to report said user. You’re not entitled to wave around something you deem inappropriate just because it was said to you. There’s really no difference between putting that in your signature and the people that make threads about people cheating or those threads where people talk down other users. You didn’t like what he did and you were trying to make a spectacle out of him and that’s not okay.
That being said, that’s really textbook Tumblr
Don’t like something? Give it a public trial and try to make it feel miserable, so maybe it fit in this thread.

Yes, but no, if it’s in his signature, someone has that message on display then that specifically has to be addressed, as well as the individual whom said it originally.
