Dudes, Doop may look like a joke character…but he’s anything but. He/She/It/Whatever was portrayed during Peter Milligan’s X-FORCE/X-STATIX run killing off characters who weren’t making the grade. Milligan strongly hinted that Doop had an ulterior motive in his unseen machinations, but I don’t think it ever paid off.
It’s still a very weird niche character to introduce into the game…unlike, let’s say, Batroc.
