Welcome to Clearance Level 8!

Also welcome to the new PVE Event Format. For this first time ever (maybe?), PVP & PVE event pages are aligned in formatting and style. It took a lot of time and effort to get up and running by Moon Roach.

Feedback welcome on the new format for PVE. I think it works a bit better than the links to spreadsheet images. Please let me know of any errors with this first time in the new style. And a special thanks to Moon Roach for the work getting a structure up and running that I so willingly stole … er … made use of.

There are Main nodes to open up the sub-events. These nodes are team-up nodes. The first sub-event’s main node is repeatable for points only while Sub-Event 1 is open. All other main nodes to open the sub-events are one time only nodes.
Enemy Types (Main): Wolverine (2*), Hammer Goons, Hand Goons
This event introduced “Survival Mode”. This is a node with waves of enemies. The number of waves per node and number of enemies per wave varies. Points are gained after each wave.
Some wave nodes throughout the event give unique rewards of 1000 ISO or an EotS Recruit Token.

Sub 1 is 48 hours, and a full point clear with all essentials is worth 8,720. Add in another full point clear of every node for the 24-hour mark, and it’s worth just over 10k. That leaves ~128,000 points to make up in the next four subs…is this a little odd?

It certainly feels the points are very low compared to the targets to get progression. Even the wave nodes that are usually the largest points are very low.

This is an event that is extremely back loaded. The last two subs are worth roughly 2x and 2.5x the first sub in terms of points. Just keep starting your timers and you should hit max prog when all is said and done.

I did not start yet but that’s likely because there will be several hard nodes in the later sub-event.. like Wolverine slashing your face upon next wave or for free from goon feeders

Edit: I started playing.. it was easy.. too easy.. it’s a 48hr sub.. maybe the scaling will increase overnight like it use it

my highest node is 408, which is normal with OML locked out, it won’t increase.
But my third highest, which should be in the 350-370 range is only 141, which is odd.
Must be cause they had to fit in the loaner node.

It’s become a lot easier thanks to the work you did on that spreadsheet. It is very much appreciated. I still have some tweaking to do (7 day vs 3/4 day PVE events, new character release vs standard events), but it’s quick and effective now.

And now that I mention it, I realise the ISO is probably all wrong for the event due to me forgetting this is 7 days. Will update later when I get home.

I honestly prefer the spreadsheet format. Better for comparing rewards, and info not spread out.

I did too but I was only able to see up-to CL6 for some reason, likely because it was really long. Let’s be honest though no one will care about CL1-3. By the time new players discover the forums they will be on CL 4 or 5, so you guys should not be wasting your time creating rewards sections for those CL.

CL8 has been very competitive so far. I know the end of subs are where the point gaps are created, but it feels like by EOTS’ end, the top 75 will all be people who’ve played optimally and top 10 will only be people who can start their timers in under 1.5 hours.

Glad to see I’m not the only one, this feels way more competitive than CL7 but maybe it’ll change when people start getting to max progression.

On a related note, the wave node in Main tab that opens the first sub closes after sub 1, right? If someone could confirm that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

It does. There’s a new main node for sub 2, and IIRC, every following sub. Sub 2’s main node is non-repeatable; not certain about subsequent days.

Could some kind soul tell me the points values for the 2* and 4* events? I’ve cleared them 5 times now and just realized my spreadsheet is off. I suspect it’s these throwing me off.
