Thank goodness for a 48-hour sub; it feels like a month since we last had one. I don’t think it really is that long, but the fact that it feels like it can’t be good. It should coincide with Lightning Rounds too, so the Iso hit won’t be too bad.

Phew all round, I say.

What’s the best tactic for a 48 hour event ?

Do the first four then wait 24 hours until it’s back to maximum points and then wait again until a couple of hours before event end or something else?

It’s the only thing I haven’t worked out yet in the game

Do the first 4 clears as fast as possible. Wait till they regen to full in 24 hours, clear a 5th time. Wait until X hours before sub end (depending on your clear speed) and do final clears.

I am going to play the hell of this one.

My situation: I have a 5/2/5 Peggy, and an extra red cover expiring in 1 day, 12 hours.

Since she’s one of the best 4*, and I’m not a 5* player, I figure it’s worth it to spend the
. I have 280, so I can easily do, but I only have 100K
. I need roughly 200K
in 36 hours to utilise that cover.

(note: I am far too lazy to actually calculate a lot of these, like average intercept ISO per day, or the exact Sub ISO availability, so rough estimates)
I have one 2* at 144 ready to sell (65K)
I am 250 XP away from rank 75 (35K)
2 days of DDQ (~7K)
1 sub of Hunt (~6-7K?)
Facebook gifts (~2K?)
SHIELD Intercept (~2K?)

I was waiting to start PVP until after the 2nd event, but I may start sooner to try and get as much possible. It may be possible. It seems a lot further off than it actually may be.

From last run, here’s the breakdown for the Florida sub; T1-3 represent the “trivial” nodes in increasing difficulty, H1-H3 the “hard” nodes (with H3 being the CP node).

Blah, a 48 sub couldn’t come at a worst time for me. Less than 24 hours before my rulk cover expires and I still need around 11000 iso for the champ fee. I’ll get 4700 from ddq after my storm cover. Hopefully with intercepts, rewards from the first sub, and a few pvp nodes I’ll get it but talk about cutting it close.

On the other hand: The F-ing Florida sub. At least we are getting XP for all those one-time nodes.

With the current boosted 3* group, even the Florida sub hasn’t seemed as bad as usual(*). Heck, the Juggernaut Heroic was almost enjoyable, at times. Who would have guessed Wesley Snipes, Benedict Cumberbatch and a creepy, female furry would work so well together…

Emphasis mine… I was gonna say, at 4* scaling, my teams are getting murdered by level 300+ Dark Avengers. My 4/2/5 320 Bucky is doing all he can with Blade and Strange (occasionally Battery Man), but oof! Moonie and Ares even have enough hit points to survive a full grenade when I match it!

I think I used 8 health packs on my 5th clear this morning. Daken is everywhere in this one. Bullseye I can handle, but Daken makes life miserable fast.

land too - Ares/Daken/Venom are at 319. I’ve been using Peggy, Kingpin and IM40 with success. All are champed.

My 1/0/10 Kingpin and 2/1/4 Peggy weep at the thought. Bucky is 4/2/5 boosted to 320 as I said, Kingpin is level 233 but pretty much useless compared to my 3*s (yay yellow?), Flaptain is 5/5/2 so no damage from him (but that yellow though), Gwen is 1/0/5 so she can play the drums all day (seeing quite the yellow theme here…), XFDP is 4/2/1, and GR is 2/4/4.

I’m shooting grenades all day, thirsting for blood, sending out the squirrel horde, or feeling a bit strange in this one. I guess I could use DD and re-spec to 5 in purple, but all the other purple users are so much better. Maybe Johnny. I dunno; I just know that I’ll be happy to face the Devourer of Worlds instead of these accursed DAs for a fourth straight event.

I mean, I could just resort to my champed 283 4Thor or 276 IMHB, but Bucky does so much more damage at 5 red compared to those two even if his CD just explodes on its own.

It’s a display issue.
The real levels are still 430.
Chill.

Yes, 5* scaling sucks, but you’re not fighting 761 snipers - look at their health, they “only” have 35k.

I’m running triple champed 5s too, the level display is wrong.

Yes, it’s still sucky, but not THAT bad.
