• Fixed a bug where Nova’s power Takeoff was not correctly turning into Rocket Man when other teammates’ powers created Black Strike tiles.
• Fixed a bug where Nova’s power Rocket Man was not correctly changing to Takeoff when all friendly Black Strike tiles were removed.
• Fixed a bug where The Punisher (MAX)'s power Army of One was not changing back to Punish when allies returned from a Stunned state.
Note We have identified and addressed the issue where Nova’s power Rocket Man was not doing as much damage as expected when the opposing character returns from airborne. This is not a bug we can hotfix and it will be part of the R108 Release.

As a general rule, passive abilities that offer a constant effect take effect from the start of the battle. This includes Peggy’s cost effects, damage reaction abilities (Thing, Deadpools, etc.), and effect-on-match abilities (Moon Knight, Daken, Jeans Grey, etc.).
As another general rule, abilities that place a tile based on current board conditions (Blade, Scarlet Witch, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, etc.) do not take effect on the very first turn.
The new patch move Peggy and Moon Knight into the second category. Notably, these two both have a constant effect but also have an animation at the beginning of battle to show that the passive ability is in play. I suspect that this distinction is where the problem crept in.
Can we get a hot fix for the teamup bug? New features like sending a 5-cover teamup for championed character’s abilities sound fantastic on paper, but are really tinykitty when instead of 5 covers you actually only ever get 1 cover instead. Hate to keep bringing it up, but doesn’t this stuff get tested? Sigh
Has this even been acknowledged by D3 as a bug? It’s been mentioned in the bugs section but I have not seen any acknowledgement from D3. This is really, REALLY annoying.

Thank you for the update.
Can he be rotated out of the boosted characters until the R108 release?
Since Nova won’t be fixed for another 2 patches, can you please remove him from the boosted list until he is fully functional? The boost rotation is in excess of 8 weeks long now, so it really hurts to have a very strong character finally come up in the rotation only to be crippled and unable to fully leverage the strength of boosting.
