Just completed opening clears of HAT. Saw my score wasn’t correct, but all nodes completed correctly. The game did crash just as I completed the CN, but when I restarted the win had been recorded, but maybe it didn’t award me full points?
I’ve had this a number of times (mostly on train journeys). The app crashes, you get the rewards, but no Points. The clock doesn’t start if it was the 3rd hit, and you have to go in again to hit the node and start the clock.
Just do a node-by-node check to see if the clock has started and if not, you’ll have to hit again I’m afraid.
Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately this isn’t it. It was only about 2 hundred points different, so far less than the points for the CN. I did wonder if I had accidentally switched one of the nodes back to normal, but I have checked and they are all correctly set to heroic.
I do think it must be related to the crash on the CN. I had just about beaten the node, 2 enemies down, 1 remaining with only a couple of thousand health, Coulson’s countdown was just about to trigger to finish him off. The countdown tile disappeared and the screen froze. I can’t help thinking I was awarded points but not full points, similar to how I seem to remember in a boss fight when points are awarded in proportion to damage done if you lose to a boss (is this still the case).
That sort of thing happens on wave nodes. Not on your regular 3 enemy node. Could you have crashed out on a wave node?
This has happened to me before, but not here, as there aren’t any wave nodes on day 2 of HAT. It’s most odd!
I wonder if it gave you the normal points amount instead of the heroic. I’m not positive but it looks like the CN node is worth 1200 on heroic which would make it worth 1000 on normal, thus your 200 point difference.
That’s certainly a possibility. So many strange things have happened in this game since Unity that I wouldn’t discount it.
I had a weird glitch on the wave node. I completed it, but after it showed the victory banner, it just reloaded the first wave. After retreating from that and completing another node, I got the rewards from the wave node, but I’m not sure if I got the points. I was using Kang to away the enemies so I’m not sure if there’s still an issue with using Kang for wave nodes.
Is this at all similar to your issue?
I don’t know which node caused the problem, only that the game froze on the challenge node during my clears which may have just been a coincidence. There weren’t any wave nodes on Day 2 of HAT, so definitely not a wave node issue. It will probably just bump me down a placement reward banding, which is hardly something to get too upset about. I just never experienced this particular problem before which is why I posted about it.
But I haven’t been using Kang so definitely not this either. Mind you, you have got me thinking, is Kang faster and should I be using him?
The sub 3, H3 wave node repeated infinitely. I do think all the points were given as well as node rewards but it never exited back to the main sub screen to let you select a new node. You had to retreat.
I did not use Kang and therefore that’s not the issue. I used Iron May, Iron Patriot and Death. I over cleared on the opening because I didn’t notice it was looping…
I do not know if anyone who was in non-Heroic saw this behavior. I assume more people than last season are playing Heroic because the teams you can make are so good, especially with Iron May. But that might be a thing that determines if this happens.
Yes, I also experienced this. It was … wierd.
I had the same thing happen this morning on the final wave node. I wasn’t using Kang, it just restarted the mission and oddly with no team ups equipped. At first I thought I’d just started it again & forgot, but it did it a second time. It also does not appear to be worth the same points, waves are always worth more but that was & the node before it were showing a difference of 3 points.
Oh, THAT’S what happened with the rewards. I knew about the wave glitch, but I didn’t connect it in my head for some reason.
This happened to me every time I played the final wave node.
