I synced this to my Facebook months ago, and over and over, it kept asking me to prizes with people who are my Facebook ‘friends’ but certainly wouldn’t be if I kept giving them free Iron Man 35 covers… So I blocked the connection on Facebook.
I want to save my progress now, but on the Facebook page, I can’t see where I blocked Marvel Puzzle Quest at all. Is there a way in game to reset that connection? I would be pretty furious if I lost all my game info somehow.
Go into Facebook settings, select blocking, and scroll down to “block apps”. Find MPQ in the list and click unblock on the right side.
Load MPQ on your device, and link Facebook in the settings menu. That will let you re-authorize it.

Nope, it doesn’t make a difference. If I pull it up, the option is still ‘unblock’ no matter how much I unblock it.

If there was an in-app option to reset info, it wouldn’t be an issue. The main reason I blocked it was because the app was way too aggressive in it’s need to push the app on people’s Facebook friends. Was nobody else sick of it?
From what you’re describing, it’s not something that could be reset on the app side. You blocked the app on Facebook, and are having trouble unblocking it there.
Personally, I’m not sick of it. I just hit the “check all” button when a share-ten reward comes up, and then scroll through the list for people I know play, reselecting them individually. The far more frequent share-three rewards always pick fellow players. If that’s too tedious, just hit “check all” and “send” any time a share-ten opportunity comes up.

If the app allowed you to change your Facebook info, you could resubmit your info to Facebook. Problem solved. Instead it keeps submitting something that will always be rejected. I think the problem is on the app side. If it could be reset, I would know. Without that, blaming Facebook is just fan service for MPQ.
Glad you don’t mind checking all. I did though. Personally, after three dozen times of the Facebook page bringing up nobody I knew played, I was more than sick of it. Different strokes for different folks…
