Resplendent Angel + On Serra's Wings = Doesn't Die in Combat [Fixed in 3.2]

Not sure if this is specific to these two cards or related to the old bug where some creatures buffs would make a creature quasi-indestructible…
Regardless, here’s what we have:

  1. I attacked with a 26/26 Traxos into his 12/12 Resplendent Angel
  2. First problem: They only dealt 10 damage to each other*
  3. Second problem: After damage was dealt but before the Angel could die, it was buffed by its ability to a 17/5

*His Angel was definitely a 12/12. It had been equipped the previous turn and attacked once, so 5/5 base + 1 5/5 buff + 2/2 from the support makes it a 12/12. Also, note that the trample over damage was calculated corrected at 26 - 12=14.

It looks like the Angel was 10/10 (without buffs) before the encounter - you Dealt the killing blow but with Likelink the AI got 10 life from the attack which triggers “When you gain 5 or more life, reinforce this creature”

Bug is has nothing to do with On Serra’s Wings. Simply should a dead creature be reinforced?

I can confirm that the team is currently aware of this issue. I’ll go ahead and add this to the bug list for reference.
