Now that it finally popped up in my game, there does seem to be something extra going on in that area.
It’s both pointy and smooth at the same time, like a giant piece of candy corn that’s been smushed down a bit.

Coming back to this, Shatterstar costume can be bought but won’t appear ingame, maybe they took it out cause it covered the bulge…
Where’s my stuck-in-the-80th-disco-gym-suit costume? I want him to look like a member of Electric Callboy!
My take is the costume is Guy Gardner with swords.
I can select the costumes and some can’t. It’s weird.
