So I’m playing a match and I’m down to my last guy. The enemy lazy Thor brings on a Thunder Strike that’s more than enough to put me away. Except there were enough green tiles already on the board to give it two critical tiles that started a crazy cascade that ended in a match and a match and… yet another match. Then came the inevitable Call the Storm. As if I wasn’t dead enough, all that was followed up by a TU Rage of the Panther…!
I can handle losing but good grief, insult to injury much? Lol

I’m down to a few hundred pts with my last surviving character, same for the last surviving opponent character, I’ll down him next move… and he downs me with a Yelena TU.
I once had the perfect lazyThor red into yellow into green - all whilst my team was wiped from the first ability. I don’t think he even got a cascade off any of his abilities, he literally saved all of them until he had enough to use all 3 at the same time.
At the other end, my quickest drop out was after turn 2 which the AI concluded with 53 accumulated APs waiting to rain down on me (and imagine the damage already dealt…).
Didn’t wait around to see that overkill happen…
I once was about to survive a node with my entire crew needing a hospital’s ICU ward and soon… only to have 3* Thor’s Call of the Storm/Green ability pop out as a super strong TU which immediately KOed EVERYONE.
I once started out a node with the cascades from the other side - which started out as a collapsing critical tile upon board reveal - KOing my first-in-line character and then dropping my second character’s health down to half. Given the difficulty of that Node, it was inevitable that I wouldn’t survive.
On the other hand, I had the joy of seeing the AI wanting the opposing team dead, dead, dead as it rained down on me perfect critical opportunities to down the opponent’s HP to 60% remaining which - using abilities - I was able to smash off which left only goons behind.
Hawkeye was the last man standing - with a whole 5HP! - when the AI dropped on him, in order: Aggressive Recon, Chemical Reaction, Call of the Storm, Mjolnir’s Might, Thunderstrike and a second CotS just to make sure.
I got my tanking team (low level 2* Human Torch + low level Mod. Hawkeye, but fully covered abilities) dropped like a sack of potatoes in the Black Widow Grey Suit this past LRs when I tried to put them in against the freerangec@ge seed team.
…she got enough AP to fire Sniper Rifle TWICE! That’s 30 Green AP!
She fired the initial turn when she had enough, the resulting cascade gave enough for her to do it again next turn…
…I might want to pick a slightly tougher tank team next time
