Stealing Gaia's Revenge did not work

I am using Tamiyo.
My opponent casted GR onto the battlefield.

  1. I had Spires of Orazca on the field,
  2. used Tami’s 2nd ability (Oboro Knowldge) to disable GR,
  3. then attempted to cast Connive to steal GR.
    This did not work.
    I used this combo against several creatures that entered the field, but specifically, GR would not let me steal it.

Did you already have 3 creatures out? Because if so that’s “working as intended”

If not, then yeah that’s a bug, although I wonder which specific step of the process is the issue

I did not have a full hand. I played specifically with one creature in my deck so I could do some creature thieving for fun and profit. I was able to steal some other creature that was on the board after I bounced GR back to my opponent’s hand. GR came back to the board and I could not steal it… sad times.

I’ve had several issues with disable specifically from Tamiyo’s ability — like Swift Reckoning doesn’t work.

This should be looked at. It’s a pretty broad issue where it seems disable only disables the creatures from attacking but doesn’t actually disable the hexproof.
