Stop automatically recruiting heroes

Its incredibly annoying that the game automatically recruits any hero I get if I have an open roster slot. Right now I have three open roster slots and selling individual covers is a pain. I realize its not the biggest issue out there but would it not be less work for the game? One more line of code removed in the spirit of optimizing the end user experience?

actually, if you have an empty roster slot, and say you use a silver token and get a 1* you do not have.. it comes up with a BIG recruit button, but down to the bottom left is also a sell for X iso button. you can insta sell the crud cover instead of recruiting it.
