Hey Everyone,

We will be running a special type of Lightning Round tomorrow called Super Lightning Rounds. These are 20 person Versus tournaments where the top two prizes are Fight and Flight Tokens (the same as Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers)'s Versus Tournament Cover Store). These function just like normal Lightning Rounds and will last two days.

Will the brackets include players from all SHIELD Clearance Levels?
They will function like normal Lightning Rounds. There aren’t any restrictions to who you are competing against in a leaderboard.

Will we need to pay an HP entry fee to join?
Nope! Free for anyone to participate

What’s the rewards breakdown?
Progression Rewards

  • • Score 25 - 140 Iso-8
    • Score 50 - Standard Token
    • Score 100 - 250 Iso-8
    • Score 250 - Standard Token
    • Score 500 - 500 Iso-8

Placement Rewards

  • • Rank 1 - 2 Fight and Flight Tokens, 1,000 Iso-8
    • Rank 2 - 1 Fight and Flight Token, 500 Iso-8
    • Rank 3-5 - Elite Token, 500 Iso-8
    • Rank 6-8 - Elite Token, 250 Iso-8
    • Rank 9-13 - 200 Iso-8
    • Rank 14-18 - 140 Iso-8
    • Rank 19-20 - 70 Iso-8

What will the boosted list for these look like?
4-Star Captain Marvel is the only boosted character.

About time these came back!

(Brigby, this is way before your time but similar 20-person LR brackets were part of the introductions for Thor (Goddess of Thunder) and Elektra, and were very well received around here.)

If 4* LR are going to be a regular thing, (and I really hope they are), then I’m glad it’s staring with Carol. She’s been a Lot of fun.

Wow!!! Will this become a normal thing? I’m hopeful! Sounds great!!! As previously stated, the Th4r and Elektra LRs were fantastic!!

Here’s hoping player engagement goes through the roof so this becomes a regular thing.

And then they’re offered on weekends at least sometimes so Steam players have a punchers chance at participating regularly.

What will the boosted list for these look like? Just c4rol, normal LR boosted. Weekly boosted? Something else?

First time in a LONG time I’m legitimately excited for something mpq related. These were great during 1st anniversary.

Those were also double iso events, so assume even if they kept this table, that all iso values are cut in half.

I look forward to doing the same thing I always do with Lightning Rounds, which is mostly not play them because I’m at work! Woooo!

This is great news! However, I hate to be the one to sound negative during all this excitement but my problem with Lightning Rounds is they only run at a limited time which happens to be when most people (such as myself) are working. Any plans to expand it (e.g. everyday, 24/7)?

Also, what’s the boosted list? Just Captain Marvel or will it be the Weekly boosted characters as well?
