What team are you guys using with patch and or what do you suggest is a good team comp for patch. right now i’m using:
Lvl 85 Thor 5/3/5 (sad i know)
Lvl 52 Patch 3/2/3
Lvl 50 OBW 5/5/3
and i seriously get stomped on all the time. This composition sucks. And i love patch and want to use him, but i need a better team composition or one that just works at all. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Why not use normal wolverine? The red ability does a lot of damage.
Honestly i have a wolvi at 5/3/5 right now only at lvl 17. Once i get rebuild him i may use him. But with the nerf he’s not as good as he once was
Guessing your character levels, you might try modern storm instead of Thor.

Your OBW isn’t ideal for a Patch team because you get no bonus damage from espionage
I don’t have him yet but a number of people have mentioned using Loki as he can reverse enemy strike tiles (which Patch produces with both Berserker Rage and Best There Is).
Loki, C.Storm, Hulk, IM40, Bag-Man and Invisible Woman all make sense with him in one way or another. OBW’s alright for Espionage double triggering strike tiles, but likely to die if you’re not shutting down Patch’s purple strike tiles instantly (Loki, Invisible Woman, Bag-Man). Edit: oh, as Kelbris points out, your OBW doesn’t have Espionage damage, so she’s not doing that.
Your levels are a bigger problem, anyway. Unless you have no other option, I wouldn’t use a 3* much lower than level 100. That’s about where they’re as effective as a maxed (85) 2*. For now, leveling is probably your priority. I wouldn’t worry too much about Patch yet, not without more covers and someone to use with him. In most teams, if you want three strike tiles, you can use Punisher and not have to mitigate Patch’s suicidal tendencies.
Hulk… 5 in black and Hulk is your answer to the strike tiles. He absorbs hits extremely well given his high hit box, and then Anger drops a keg on your opponents face.
I love me some Hulk with Patch and OBW. The list is fun as all hell to play, and it is an actual challenge. You have to use your head and keep with it. If you need to heal, swap out Spidey for OBW.
I think a 5 Blue Spiderman or Loki is required when using a high level patch. Creating 500+ damage worth of strike tiles for the other team is instant suicide for the squishys on your team. Loki can use his Trickery to turn them into protect tiles. Spidey can stun the team so they can’t use the strike tiles.
I also enjoy using Punisher as his attack tiles get boosted from the strike tiles. It’s not uncommon for me to do a 1300 match 3 followed by another 900 damage from Punishers attack tile.

When Spiderman gets nerfed I’ll be screwed because my Loki is low level.
Obw - Purple,Blue,Black. She stays, she’s a good 2*.
Thor- You can try replacing with ares or rags, and maybe hulk.
Patch - You can try 2* wolvie.
Spider-Man could be solid.
Taking out the other guy’s purple strike tiles and adding a protect tile of your own mitigates the risk Patch brings, and you can pop off a stun on their scariest guy while those tiles are all up there. But I guess Spider-Man works well in every team, so it’s more of a question of how to get him, not whether to use him.
I don’t see the benefit of using Thor either, unless it is out of level necessity. It gives you a conflict with green and red.

I run that team a lot. My only issue with it is Hulk is very likely to take out your own strike tiles, while doing nothing to theirs. I find I really have to hold Patch back until the fight is just about over, otherwise I’m just fueling their offence instead of my own.
With Patch, you need guys with speed and board control. Some of the better characters for that are:

Loki’s black after Patch’s green is pretty much a guaranteed win.
Classic Magneto has the best board control.
Thor, Hulk, BWGS are green generators.

What do you mean? as in why am i not using her? or?
You might be using your best roster right now since Thor is your only tank; wait for the next PVE and get some ISO, you need to do some leveling to get a couple more heroes closer to 85
With that roster, I’d focus on Ares or Punisher (Pun could use some more green)

What would you recommend getting closer to 85?
No her build should be 5/5/3 or 5/4/4. And i also think you need to pump some iso into some of your characters.
