- There is most definitely luck. They randomize the op pulls, both for and against you. Therefore not getting drawn from the hat, and having good draws yourself, IS luck. As someone who starts late you are also more affected by that as having to skip multiple times slows you down. As does getting hit by other late(r) starters.
- You’re implying they made changes between the ones where you couldnt get T100 vs almost making T10. They have not said they did, there is no reason to think they did. So why would this PVP be any more “fun” than those previous, unless its an anomaly based on nothing they did…like less than good rewards/lack of interest. Hint: both bad for the game.
Believing in luck is your choice, kind of like religion or any other faith-based superstition, but the player and the matching algorithm decide who the player faces - it’s not random chance. Someone who believes in luck says “I got an unlucky board” when what really happened is that they made the wrong choice of characters for that match or “the AI cheats and gets all the cascades” when it was the players’ first move that set the whole thing in motion. Who you see and who sees you are dictated solely by decisions made by the player - if you don’t believe me, sit out a PVP or two and see what kind of opponent you face: I guarantee it’ll be a different class entirely based solely on one decision you make a week earlier. Or, sell your maxed 4*s and you’ll see the same thing, but immediately.
