I’ve been slowly ascending new characters to lab, and each time I ascend someone I typically spend some time looking for their BFFs. Typically I would try to find ways to get them to take down each of the meta teams and then update my PvP counters thread.
Rather than dump everything in there, I figured maybe it would be more fun / beneficial to do a separate post to focus on each new character. So, basically, I will try to post useful info for the characters I am ascending (dont expect Multiman quality though).
The name clearly inspired by recent events and of course, these will likely all be off meta characters.
Starting with Colleen because shes my latest.
Notes:
- Turns out, she might be the best self healer in the game?
- I run 5,3,5 because 10k additional dmg on the red is basically nothing ans her yellow heal and match dmg get way nicer.
- She wants levels. She wants to take hits and use her match increase.
- Don’t cast red or yellow until you’ve cast blue twice
Supports:
- Refresh cart for spam
- Lucky Dog on her friends for heals and strike buff
- Dragon when you need someone to go airborne
- Low-level Ai, MOOOORE strikes!
Specialties:
- Heals (mostly self, but also team)
- Ability spam (all 3 colors but mostly blue)
- Tank (via strike tiles)
- Striker: Loves to use them, but not good at making them (except with dragon support due to spam).
- Match dmg with Heroes 4 Hire, but her increase doesn’t put her in front, unfortunately.
Some BFFs (does not include meta, except Toad):
- Goose5: Team damage tank with tons of strikes
- Vulture4: Anyone who goes airborne helps because it leaves your tank in the battle, but he also generates all the blue you need to keep her full health.
- SheHulk5: Also wants to get punched in the face and has an excellent green.
- Phoenix5: Same concept as Hulk but can also buff strikes.
- Moondragon4: Makes Wingy take the damage and counters enemy SAPs.
- Toad4: Blue ability spam goes infinite easily.
- MariaHill4 (ascended): Best starting strikes in the game, drop Beast4 in here for a fun time.
- WhiteTiger: There is good synergy here, but Tiger is a liability since every meta hits the backline right now.
- Ironfist3, SilverSable5, BK4, LukeCage3: All ok friends who buff her match dmg, but I don’t have them ascended yet.
- Nightcrawler2: Big strikes, but usually a liability.
VS a disgusting team w/ Goose. Goes to show you that ascending May is not the right call:
