The usual gang of Dark Avengers. It has three different subs that rotate - Alaska, Florida and Savage Land - but while two subs are frequently open simultaneously they never close at the same time. From the length of it, it looks like we’ll play each sub twice.
I guess it potentially allows people to stagger their playtimes, so they’re not just restricted to 8 hour clears, since the subs start at overlapping different times?
Yes, but it seems to me that’s exactly why it’s an odd choice for a test. It’s not “pure.” People might love it here because they can actually play more often due to the overlaps, but events that are linear…
3* Thor is arguably the best 3* in the game, and easily the most attainable of any of the top 3-5 characters (since no transitioner can hope for a 4* other than with luck). Wouldn’t be surprised to see this one get heavy play, even without a new character, since just about any new character isn’t actually as useful as 3* Thor!
Honestly though, this event is going to be more about “who can best guess how the new 8 hr refreshes work most optimally” than anything else.
Sidenote: I wonder if 3* Thor will be a possible reward from the tokens from this event? Or, since he’ll be featured for the next event (which is also likely yet another new character), will he be a possible reward from those? Wondering because he’s supposedly otherwise vaulted, as others have mentioned.
ok so “we want you to be able to sleep” but we are going to do 8 hour refreshes mixed in with 12 hour staggered starts - guaranteeing that the top guilds will all have to be on a 4 hour refresh. Did you guys think about how those two sentences don’t go together?
