anyone know if the simulator PvE has rubberband? or is this a pure grind fest the sooner you start the better?

Simulator never had main, only subs, therefore you want to do well in subs to do well in main. Rubberbanding is only based on global sub leaders. As usual, risky types can join late (or at least well after the first sub ends) in hopes of a late bracket.

I can’t remember the last Simulator I played, what’s the structure of this? How do the subs look? and how long are they?

Everyone is at 100 Level for the Prep match.

You get loaner Heroes to use. So, no sweat.

Well, there’s a blue Beast at 120k, so I’ve got that to look forward to next Thursday, hopefully.

Subs are 2.5 days long and Normal and Hard subs run side by side.

I’ve been writing these things down here.

Based on past history you need to be at 30K (± a fewK) by the end of the first sub to hit 120K at the end.

Almost wiped on the 3x deadpool fight due to a massive cascade that gave them Whales Whales Whales turn 2 which hit every char for 3.3k. Not gonna enjoy that fight with scaling.

There is a Devil Dino + green feeding goon node. Ugh.

Daaaaaaaaammit. I really want LThor covers but my roster is absolute crap for this round. I’ve got Beast with two covers, LDaken with two ranks of Chemical Reaction, a fully covered Modern Cap, and that’s about it. I made the choice to ditch Ares because I had already built up Thor and Wolverine by the time I started getting decent covers for him, and wanted that roster space and ISO to go to 2* characters with color mixes other than R/Y/G, which has served me well so far but is biting me in the ass now. Argh.

Ah well. I’ve got Beast; hopefully that’ll be a ticket into the top 150 and another level of Call the Storm. And I’ve already got LThor at 2/1/2, I just need to beef him up, so I have a free pass into the next PvE regardless.

Previous simulators have gone up at 25% per sub meaning to get 120K you need 32K in the first round. In fact you need slightly more than this is things tend to slow down a bit as the event goes on.

In this one, are the powered up covers the only ones we can use?

Nope, you can use your whole roster. You’ll just need the featured character for essential nodes.
