Updates to S.H.I.E.L.D. Training (10/17/17)

Hi Everyone,

S.H.I.E.L.D. Training will be returning for the release of Nightcrawler, and with it come a few changes that have been made since the last run of this event.

Structure

  • After completing the Join Forces mission, both the top-row missions and the first Individual Training mission are unlocked.
  • For the character and Call for Backup missions, completing a mission unlocks the mission directly under it.
  • The first row of missions does not have a character level restriction. Required characters have a level restriction of 120 in the second row, and the third row has a level restriction of 209.

Increased the Iso-8 rewarded in the…

  • Join Forces! missions to 500 Iso-8 (previously 100 Iso-8)
  • Top three character missions to 250 Iso-8 (previously 100 Iso-8)
  • Middle three character missions to 500 Iso-8 (previously 250 Iso-8)
  • Bottom three character missions to an event token (previously 500 Iso-8)

I’ve listed them in the October 2017 Sneak Peek. They’re Rogue, Invisible Woman, and Elektra (Unkillable)

Does that mean we need a level 209 Rogue to get a Nightcrawler cover?

Wow, so the two biggest complaints from the last run (minimum level requirement and nodes get locked out if you don’t have the specific characters) are completely ignored.

Edit: Oh wait, the last run, anyone can at least play 5 nodes (loaner and the 4 of the first row), now you can only play the loaner node if you miss even one of the required characters.

Edit 2: This is truly disappointing.

As I recall could still get the Rogue cover from last event like this right? So can still get Nightcrawler cover from this one?

Further steps in the wrong direction. Just because you changed the direction from horizontal to vertical does not mean you fixed anything.

Also, I’m assuming that we have to complete all the upper missions before the horizontal paywall missions. Except that the very first column is for the character and level that the majority of us didn’t have and have not had access to since this original run. Nope, you’ll need Rogue, Elektra & Invisible Woman at 209 for the final node (excluding bottom row) to get the Nightcrawler cover.

This doesnt change anything, all people care about is the Nightcrawler cover and its pretty much unreachable.

Great choice of essentials too, 2 very unpopular chars (Elektra & IW really?) and a character not even available in tokens yet.

So stingy, unbelievable.
