Vault Cost, I know it is a boring topic

Apologies, did not mean to flag the post. The screen resized on me. Once again apologies.

No worries I’ve been flagged for less! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

And I was a Transformer fan back in the day (I gave them all away when I figured girls would be more fun to play with, eh, 50/50!) and I had a decent bunch but could never find Ravage! Plus the UK missed out on a whole bunch like the Constructions, Predacons, Shockwave ( fortunately Radio Shack in the UK did an unofficial version who was identical apart from not being purple which was yay as he is my favourite) and most bizarrely Swoop. We could get all the other Dinobots but not him. Why?!?!?! Oh but we could get Runamuck who can’t even move his arms! How does he eat a sandwich? Scandalous!

Strange the ones you guys couldn’t get! I would argue that the UK comics were superior for Transformers. I dove back into them after running across some of my old ones cleaning out at my parents old place. So naturally I started looking around and decided I needed to repurchase my 1986 childhood, which turned into…now I need to get things I didn’t own before, which quickly escalated my thinking these ā€œ3rd party transformers are wild, let me lite money on fireā€

Please, if any dev is reading this, new supports. The support shard vaults stopped last year because no one bought them. Why? Because I already have every support at 5 star. New supports please! Then you can start running the support vaults again and get $$$$

It’s been more than 2 years. Unless they release a batch of a dozen or so at one time, I and probably many others can immediately 5star them from the saved tokens we have, plus having not every shard we earn turn into dust.

I would expect new supports to not be favoritable or be in the rotation for at least 6 months to create incentive to purchase them.

The UK comics I think generally had better art work and some quirky storylines. Probably my favourite ones were both Dinobots centric being Dinobot Hunt and In the National Interest.

I like 5k vaults because it’s a round number that I can understand. My math skills would rather not handle 7350.

X-Men vault is not too bad if you don’t have those characters 550d yet.

But the company just wants folks to break hoards and start buying hp again. I’m not incentivized enough to do so.

To be fair they have no choice. For whatever reason MPQ has a bunch of players who have vast resources and the ability to cover anything new from existing hoards without breaking sweat. If they can’t figure a way to get players spending their hoards without giving away new new stuff, the game is going to be forced into adopting new and more predatory ways of getting income. And MPQ seems to have a LOT of players who despite vast hoards will only spend on what they consider absolute top value. This game has a mentality from players that using health packs, a free resource that regenerates in a very reasonable time frame is bad.

MPQ is a baked in stain and players have deeply entrenched ideas about ā€œvalueā€ despite having vast resources available in some cases. I actually think in some cases I have seen that hoarding is actually bordering on a compulsive obsession that you can’t deplete resources ever regardless of how it can benefit you.

Better yet create a new support and give out the 1 star at the end of an alliance boss event. It would be a major incentive for the mpq orphans in dead alliances to join the larger groups and reinvigorate the game

There’s a 5k vault up for Pride month now. It’s got noticeably fewer 5 star shards and 4 star covers. Take your pick.
