Before you dive into the new events or continue with the ones finishing up and start throwing your Team Ups around, be aware that you will not be winning any new ones until the bug is fixed.
I am seeing this with my Steam version, dunno if it affects mobile users as well.
Got the update, see all the anniversary events, cleared every Deadpool vs. MPQ node once, done a bunch of PVP, haven’t noticed a single boost (except for progression reward ones) or a team up.
Though maybe some dropped and I just forgot. But definitely none in the last hour or so.
That is why you join a decent alliance. My alliance keep me filled with OBW , Rag and Juggernaught TU so i couldnt careless if we dont get TU from fight anywhere.
At current (we can always alter the odds if we need to), you have a 20% chance to get a Boost post battle. If a Boost doesn’t drop, you have another 20% chance to get a Team-Up from that battle. Also don’t forget that you can send and receive Team-Ups with your Alliance mates.
I have noticed my TU stocks going down recently, but on the other hand I’m not deleting one every fight when I want to try and get one. Strange that you put boosts in first, and not TUs.
This reduces the effectiveness of TU farming from PvE, which is sad. Nothing like piling up Prehistoric Bites for 5k damage at 6 AP. Odds to get a TU now on any given fight are 16% (20% of the 80% you don’t get boosts), which seems like it’s low, personally, especially coming off of 100% drop rate.
Yeah, spam up your alliance chat to request five one-use skills once every half-hour when it takes at least two players hours to recover their characters. Team-up sharing is a good idea with an utterly awful implementation.
The needle has been swung way too far. Team-Up skills feel more like an “oh crap, can I afford to use one?” problem now, where before it felt mandatory to use one every battle to keep stocks fresh.
With a drop rate this low, having AP associated with them almost feels wrong.
Team-Ups can be a very OP feature in a big alliance with plenty of maxed rosters; but can we please have something like offering team-ups before they are even requested? My teammates don’t always ask for Team-Ups for regular play, and not even always during intense end times, but I know that they would happily use them if they had some on hand. Due to timezone differences teammates can offer a team-up or two (just leave it for pickup in the chat) and go to sleep, instead of waiting for others to ask. I would happily buy even more slots for patrol characters if timers were a bit friendlier and if we could send more than 3, too.
I mean, defending blows. You’re at the AI’s mercy, and the AI just plays match-3 poorly and fires off any abilities that light up. I’m all for giving defenders more advantages.
What’s the use of a TU-only ability when TU drop rates have become potentially abysmally low depending on your luck in regards to how and what your drop rate spread looks like.
I hate probability.
In 100 attempts, you could get a TU every 5 times (this is the most common thought regarding probability but it’s oftentimes wrong) OR you could get one, and then on your 20th round get another one and then on your 50th round get another one and then on your 60th-65th round get five in a row etc. OR you could get five in a row at the beginning and then no more for another 20 rounds etc…
And all of these examples would eventually all equate to whatever percent and would be perfectly ‘valid’.
I played through the entire sub and got started with another round before I dropped my first TU and let’s not talk about Boosts.
So it’s a 36% chance to get something after a fight? That seems a bit low.
During the last hour of the PvE I dumped teamups to try to farm some of the fury and lvl 200 people’s TUs but all I was able was a lvl 121 unibeam and a TU AP boost
