not sure if i should post this in the bugs/technical issues section or here. apologies if it’s in the wrong section. the scenario:
i used an 8hr shield earlier today with about 650 points, ranked around 25 or so. when the shield ran up at 5pm (EST) i played a couple matches for about 50 points, received the reward for hitting 700, then 8hr shielded again with ~705 points. a couple minutes later, my points fell down to 650 again, but i did not receive any notification that i was attacked. then, a few minutes later, while still shielded, my points jumped back to 705. fast forward a few minutes, back down to 650. this cycle happened at least 3 or 4 times, always to the same point values and rank. ??? i kept checking my ranking in the event rewards/player rank tab, and it has consistently said that i am ranked 28 with 651 points – and still does NOT show me as shielded by the way – despite the jumps up and down in my ranking as shown both on the pvp event “front page” as well as its icon in the orange events tab. (both the front page and the event icon show me as shielded, but the ranking list within the event rewards page still does not. and MPQ definitely decreased my HP total, so i should absolutely be shielded.)
can someone please tell me what on earth is going on here? if i was attacked before re-shielding, i received zero notifications, so i should (in theory) be at the higher points value and better player ranking… right??
