When I saw the first trailer from Avengers 2 month before the movie were in the cinemas featuring Hulkbuster, couldn’t wait to see this big, tanky, Hulk countering Iron Man version in MPQ… And then it came with marvelous chaotic Ultron competition and was a 4* which means it would take me years to build him up… I was very disappointed!
Same goes for Carnage which I am waiting of since I started the game. As everyone knows the evil side of Marvel is very poorly represented in MPQ, so when a villain appears I hope from the bottom of my heart: “Make it a 3*, please!”
So here’s the plan, make 3* versions from upcoming and existing 4* characters. In the past this was part of the game, for example 2*, 3*, 4* Wolverine, every version with different skill sets, same goes for Black Widow or 3* gold characters with same abilities but much more powerful like Thor, Daken or Captain America.
If you want the 4* powerhouse Hulkbuster maxed, buy him! Do you want a more gameflow participating 3* Hulkbuster, collect him as usual! A 3* Hulkbuster with an other set of skills like more focus on countering the hulk (or in game terms like reducing green from the board or from the enemy or whatever) will make the game richer of possibilities and strategic deepness.
Don’t know how this interferes with D3’s making profit policy (which is good because, no money, means no staff, means no development, means no MPQ) but I think everyone can be satisfied with this, money spenders and for free players.
