I am honestly expecting a Level 1000 Moonstone
Be realistic, it will be a 4* vs a 3*, and would need to be winnable with only a few covers for this idea to work.. if you need to have all 4*s maxed to be able to get the token, that defeats the purpose of the token.
So i am guessing the opponent you fight will be a lvl 100 or so decently covered 3*, since it is 1 on 1..

the way I read ice’s comments it sounded like it was a required specific **** vs another ****. that’s why he mentioned he could sometimes do the node with his undercovered/levels ****s and he posted his roster for reference. that concerns me some since I only have 1 decent **** half covered. I may only be able to finish the node once a month. feel like I need to level the ****s I have decent covers on but not really finished with my ***s yet, but getting closer.
I wouldn’t bet against this list! Except I’d put Mystique or Scarlet Witch against Jean Grey. Mystique because there are so few mutant villains (and Daken and Mags are taken), SW for the match-5 of it. Also, Nick Fury v Sentry or Ultron.
From this I think it’s gotta be a 4* vs a 4*, or am I reading that wrong?
For some reason I had it in my mind that you were fighting another 4* 1:1… It didn’t dawn on me they might be throwing a buffed 3* against you… a little pressure is off.
bring team ups.. because even at full covers and levels. PX can only invis himself… and pray for a lucky match 5… nothing else he can do..
which makes my 4/4/2 lvl 145 PX worthless for this… let alone my 0/1/0 IW… ugh.. even my 1/5/4 IMHB may have trouble.
So basically, you need the rewards from the event, in order to get the rewards you need to win the event. No way they would do this to us. This is supposed to help the 4* transition, not create outrage and destroy all our hopes of it.

You’re not wrong there. Time will tell how this will play out, but for now with my collection of 4*s with 1 cover each (there’s 6 of them ugh) this is going to be a slog.

Depends on how big the buff is. I don’t know about your scaling level, but I’ve had lvl 240 3*s get completely DESTROYED by an over-scaled Moonstone. Often.
None of those match up will happen until they release a 4* version of them.
It will be 4* vs 4* in a 1v1, you can’t bring your 3*, 2*, or 1*, so if you don’t have the 4* to begin with, you can’t earn that cover, similar to how you can’t earn the 3* currently without having them in your roster.
Ice never said it would be 4* against 4*, IIRC - you have to bring the 4* of the week in order to enter the fight, but we don’t know what kind of opponent it will be.
If it’s a 3*, I’m expecting level 240-260, and a few class of characters:
Self feeding big nuke types: Thor, Mystique, Cyclops, Scarlet, Hulk, Doom
Self heals: Groot, Patch, Daken, Spidey
PITAs: Gorgon, Fist, Cage
Quick strikes: Deadpool, Gamora (plus her black 1v1 could be devastating)
If it’s a 4*, I’d expect 220-240, and pretty much any of them are fair game.
Could be a mix of both. But that’s my expectation. Per IceIX, he can beat them with his roster which at quick glance looked like 6-8 cover, 160ish level. Those levels should keep it difficult but beatable. Maybe 20 less on both, but again as he said, a nightmare for a 1/0/0 character.
Maybe I read his comments wrong but my understanding is that you need the 4* to even begin the match, which follows the same set up as the current 3* nodes.
1v1, 4* vs 4* it looks like since he used an example that a 1 cover 4* at level 70 probably won’t have much luck winning the battle.
