Will Banner be the progression reward in IP? If I recall he was the second Classic Legend featured in the new rotation. I’m guessing YJ will be the reward and Banner will be featured (which sucks for me because Banner is the only classic I’m missing so I’ll miss out on his shards and have to use him in a new character event lol). But I could see this being the trend going forward. Like next 5* release, have Iron Man or Black Bolt featured so a character yet to be featured doesn’t get skipped.
It looks like we are finally getting 5* rewards in solo alliance event progression! Really curious to see how generous this is!
@IceIX Please tell me that the Store UI revamp will include an improvement in the odds of our favorited characters appearing in the store. Even if it’s a small chance like 10-15% it’s better than it being entirely random. I feel like OML gets featured in mine a few times a week and Apoc hasn’t been in there in over a month and a half.
So Thick as Thieves is Jan 14th event, not the Hunt which is currently running (it’s already in preview in app), which is rewarding YJ in placement.
I’m assuming then that Infinite Pursuit will reward YJ shards in Progression and Hulk (BB) will be the essential 5* character. Is this correct that 5* Storm is the placement reward for IP (meaning the next PVE will reward shards in progression)? This would be a break in the standard 3 Latest 2 Classic rotation as featured 5*
Also 2* as first alliance reward in a boss event instead of an event token? That’s new too along with the 5* shards in personal progression.
I would hope we get a tie-in character, eventually.
But the devs plan things far out in advance to get through the dev cycle, which works when we know movie release dates sometimes years in advance. Even then, moving up Infinity War or delaying Black Widow has thrown monkey wrenches into MPQ’s plans before.
Given Wandavision didn’t have an official release date until November, they might not be able to pivot fast enough for a timely tie-in. Also given that new episodes will run till March, it wouldn’t surprise me if any tie-in character(s) was(were) planned for a window rather than a specific date.
So like, I’m less inclined to gamble on getting a tie-in with the start of the show. (Besides, it might arguably make for a better promotion to run tie-in characters right when the last episode comes out, so they can say “watch the entire series NOW on D+!” or whatever)
It should be Silk. She was essentially raised locked away in a room, and Lunar New Year is 2nd week of Feb, so she’s probably going to be part of a lunar new years themed store as well.

After these there would be Madame B or someone random from the program. Most likely someone locked in room for a long time like Silk or maybe Wanda effected someone with her powers.

Got the Red Room, where Black Widow and Yelena were trained. It also said the Red Room will be featured in the upcoming movie. But I’d bet against another 4* Black Widow 4* and a 4* Yelena so close to the release of a 5* Yelena just seems unlikely. Couldn’t find any other relevant characters trained there.
Also got “White Hot Room: A quasi-mystical place that holds the essences of Phoenix hosts”. We already have 4* Jean Grey and 5* Phoenix, so again, I’m struggling to think what they would create.
