I don’t know if I’m lucky or unlucky. So out of curiosity, I thought I’d ask those willing to share: how many of each star level supports do you currently have? To keep it simple, no need to list the name of the support or how high you’ve leveled it, just the total number by number of stars. For me:
Total 5* supports: 1
Total 4* supports: 5
Total 3* supports: 12
Total 2* supports: 10
Total 1* supports: 3
Supports I’m missing: 17 (including the 6 infinity stones which I might as well leave out as I think they can only be won, not drawn)
I do tend to spend HP on the support stores when they come along, so that’s why I have such a nice bell curve. I have yet to pull any at rank 5, though.
I’m just using my spreadsheet, and it reports 7 supports at rank 0. You’re probably right though, let me take a look.
Yup, didn’t have a line for Vanessa, Victorious, or Taskmaster’s Blade. So yes, I’m missing 10, 16 if you count the Infinity Stones.
In general, I spend 100HP on any token that costs that little per day - so every day I generally purchase one heroic token and one from the currently running PVE vault (unless it’s a new release, in which case it’s a non-vault 200 HP buy which I don’t do.) I also pick up the token from the New Support Release vault for the three days it runs. Since it started, I’ve been buying one draw per day the Support Circuit vault. I’m doing okay - I’ve pulled a handful of Advanced tokens from these vaults (my spreadsheet says 23, but that also includes Advanced tokens given as a daily deal early on,) and one Master token (it was before the change - I got a rank 4 Quantum Realm from it.) I got two other Master tokens from daily deals, I think, waaaay back when Supports were introduced. So far that’s it, though, hence no 5s. We’ll see if the new event makes any significant change - because they tuned the odds of a rank 5 down, I think it won’t.
One other thing, I have bought two or three 10-packs from those new Support release vaults. That also contributes. I haven’t bought a 10 pack from the support circuit, it being a 240 item vault I’m not sure it’s worth it.

I play a pretty good amount (I have like 15 or 16 5* champions), but do not spend other than VIP or the occasional 5-10$ and I’m not sure how I am ever supposed to have gotten a 4 or 5 star support without paying money.
I don’t go out of my way to get support tokens. I think they aren’t worth the effort. I did pull a purple token from the support event, but it was a 3* I found useless.
The only support I really like is the Kimoyo Beads, which raises the critical mulitplier at level 2.
I do have a couple of tokens lying around, partly because I don’t want anything in the current 16 and they’re idiotically waiting 5 weeks to change the selection.
