When do you feel a 4* is usable?

Hello,

Just wondering when everyone feels that a 4* is a usable character? Is it when they are higher levels than your 3*, is it when you have 10 or more covers for them or is it when you have their best color maxed? Just looking for opinions.

Myself I just leveled my HB that is 5/0/0 to 147 and I am testing him out, but I have a Cyclops that is 2/4/1 max level 152, Rulk at 5/1/1/ max level 156 and Iceman at 3/1/3 max lvl 152. I need to put iso into them to get them up to that but even then, would they be usable? Looking at playing some more PVP and any of them would probably be matched with a Champ IF or Luke Cage and a 300 lvl OML.

Any advice or comments would be great.

Same rule as 3vs 2. They aren’t better than 3* till they have ~9-10 covers and leveled to 200. Save your iso till you have someone that meets that criteria and take them there. No point spread out iso so thin like that. Unless you need it to beat the Crash of Titan node. I find somewhere around 120-150 is normally enough
